This machine is awesome, and well worth the investment. I have to give it 5 stars after the first day of use. I ran the machine by myself for about 2 1/2 hours and unloaded over $2100 of #1 copper at the scrap yard. I hope it has another $50,000 in it!

I cannot say enough good things about this machine. I never thought stripping wire for scrap could be this easy. I have run through all kinds of wire, UF, Romex, THHN, RW, MTW, etc. It all strips great. One man can’t keep up with how fast this thing can strip. The set up instructions on YouTube are dead on.

Excellent Product. Stripped 2000 lbs of 350 MCM Cu in about 6 hours. Over $5,000.00 salvage price. Cutter wheel still perfect. Just have to adjust depth so you’re not cutting into the Cu.

Use it to strip about 2500 Lbs of 500 MCM wire. Worked great with one person helping pull wire through while another help feed it. Most like would have be an to run by itself if the run of 500 MCM were cut down to 3’ length. Over and all very pleased with the machine.

The StripMeister E350X can run on 220 Volts without any other needed configuration from StripMeister. Because the plug is regularly different for 220 volts you will need an adapter for the StripMeister.

Cat 5, Cat 5, and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wires making it too small for the StripMeister E350X to strip. The smallest wire size the StripMeister E350X can do is #18 gauge wire.

    Bought the 350 for non-ferrous operations. We have processed #1 Insulated into bare bright. Easy to setup and easy to use. The employee love it.

    Bought the 350. It works very well. Smaller stranded not so good but larger wire very good. Only issue i have is sometimes the plastic insulation gets wrapped around the spindle and needs to be pulled out. A reverse switch would be handy for removing this plastic. Maybe on an upgraded version.

    My old grade school runs a scrap project to raise money for tuition assistance. Bare copper brings a much higher price than insulated wire, so I had been stripping the insulation with home-made jigs. But, I had fallen way behind and the pile of wire was growing. I liked the StripMeister jig better than others, as it is very well built and has a variable speed control. I started with the original, but due to the volume of wire, was constantly overheating my drill. The E350X will handle all sizes of wire that I will likely encounter. Not needing to run the drill has freed up my hands to guide the wire and clean up any kinks before they get to the machine. It has done a wonderful job, helping clear out the entire pile of wire in just under a week. That tub of wire brought in enough cash to help a couple needy families get a quality education for their children. I am very impressed with my StripMeister and will continue to enjoy what it can do for many years to come.

    I purchased the 350 Model. It works well. One issue however, is parts of the wire insulation get hung in roller wheel.
    It would be good to be able to reverse the wheel. to clear insulation that gets caught in it.
