OMG!!! I love this thing! Wish I had this years ago. I had 2-3 buckets of stranded and solid #10 and #12 wire, I had it all stripped out in a little over 2 hours. Best $149 I have spent this year already.

I am upset I waited so long to purchase the Stripmeister. I waisted money on cheap knockoffs that never worked properly. The Stripmeister is the type of product that makes people understand the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ because it just works. The wire stays right in the middle of the unit every time without slipping off I don’t know how they do it but this little machine has so much thought put into it and it really shows how dedicated the people at Stripmeister are to providing a quality product to their customers. I can’t say enough about this little stripper so if you are still trying to decide on the stripmeister or a cheaper stripper just pull the trigger on the stripmeister I would have gladly paid double for this stripper. A million stars for the Stripmeister.

StripMeister is a great product what else can you say. It’s very well thought out in its design, is simple to set up and use. So far I have stripped out a bunch of 12/2 romex left overs and various size aluminum from #8 to 4/0. Very simple set it up and have at it.

The machine works very fast, no more sore hands. I used to strip all wire by hand, wish I had one of these 20yrs ago. I made all the money I paid, plus some in about 3 hrs.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip #14 AWG?

Yes, the StripMeister Original can strip #14 AWG.  In fact, it can strip down to #18 AWG and up to 250 MCM.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip #16 AWG?

Yes, the StripMeister Original can strip #16 AWG.  In fact, it can strip down to #18 AWG and up to 250 MCM. 

Can the StripMeister Original strip Cat 5, Cat 6 or telephone wire?

Cat 5, Cat 6 and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wire making it too small for the Original wire stripper machine to strip. The smallest wire size the Original can do is #18 gauge wire.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip Speaker Wire?

The StripMeister Original can strip most speaker wire. Speaker wire can range from 10 AWG to 24 AWG. The StripMeister Original can strip as small as 18 AWG or .09″ in diameter with insulation on.

Do I have to use a specific type of drill gun to run the StripMeister Original wire cutter?

The StripMeister is the ideal wire stripper due to that fact that it will accommodate any drill gun with a min. 5/16″ drill chuck or larger making it the best wire stripper around!

Do I need any special tools for replacing parts?

Replacing parts on the StripMeister wire stripping machines is extremely easy and all you need is a 4mm Allen key.

How do I use the StripMeister Original?

How fast can I run the drill gun?

For optimum performance, we recommend that you do not exceed 350 RPM on your StripMeister copper wire stripper.

How fast can the StripMeister Original Strip Wire?

Depending on the power of the machines RPM, diameter, condition of and type of wire the following is an approximate estimate.
Running the drill at 300 RPM will on average strip 350ft per minute.
Running the drill at 150 RPM will on average strip 175ft per minute.

    I have ran everything from #12 thru 35 mcm without any problems. My biggest run was a piece of #6 about 60′ long and it did it in about 30 seconds. Should have had one of these years ago. One suggestion to those who purchase this is to sort your wire and strip the different sizes out separately, this will save you a lot of set up time. Also when you save your scrap to be stripped, don’t fold it up or wad it up., the machime works best with non kinked wire and cable. I have been quite happy with this unit so far. Thanks Stripmeister !

    I don’t know where to start….all I can say in about the 2 to 2.5 months I’ve owned this insanely,amazingly,incredible machine I can honestly say that I’ve made close to if not more than 10,000.00….I’m looking between 1,000.00 to 1,500.00 dollars a week. All in #12….#10….#4….#6……#8…..and ur occasional l350’s AWG. I was a little skeptical about spending 279.00 because in my head I was saying this is not true….this machine is gonna break in two weeks. WELL STRIPMEISTER I WAS DEAD WRONG. only once I had to take it apart…reason being it started to make a squeaky noise…so all I had to do was take apart wheel and put lithium white freeze and she was as good as new. At that point hearing that you know u have been beating that machine up ALOT!!!! AND NO I DO NOT WORK FOR STRIPMEISTER…..JUST A DAM GOOD SATISFIED CUSTOMER…..THANK YOU AGAIN wheel worth every penny and then some.

    Great Product!! I was not sure what to expect until i received the item and put it to work. I had all my wire stripped in a couple weeks using a few bad weather days. It was mostly #2 #4 AWG. We ended up with 2000 lbs of stripped wire. I am still using the original blade and it works as good as it was new. I even made a referral to my garbage man that was equally impressed.

    I was skeptical at first. But when I received my stripmeiser I quickly realized that this was a very well built tool. My first day stripping copper wire I doubled my money and it still going strong. Stripmeiser takes the work out of what use to be a all weekend knuckle busting hand cramping way to make a little extra money. I’m soooo glad I made the decision to buy the stripmeiser over the other stripping tools out there.

    I’m an electrician so this product was a must! Shipping was quick and free. Striper works as it should. I’m even really hard on the blade and it has shown no signs of dulling at all, plus it looks like a simple pipe cutting blade which you may be able to find at your local hardware store if your lucky.

    I strip everything from Romex, 12 awg to 250 KCMIL. Works like a charm!
