I have only put about 3 hours on my StripMeister and I am very happy with what it has done so far. I am only giving it 3 stars at this point because time will be the true test. If the cutting wheel last long enough to strip enough wire to pay for itself then I will be that much more impressed. It seems to be the product that was advertised and that is quite an accomplishment in of itself. I held off for almost a year after first seeing the product advertised before buying one. Wish I hadn’t waited that long. I have already made one modification to save additional time in the process and would be happy to share for a piece of the action. And have a couple more to try.

This works wonderfully when its going, the only issue i ever have now is occasionally the blade will slip as the wire turns but that’s not the machines fault. i did have issues with it at first where the blade would get stuck sometimes and would feed, I contacted customer service, they helped/advise me how to fix it. This does make short work of wire even doing it with just 1 person. The machine would have probably been very nice especially with its speed control but a drill works great also. It does seem to work much better with shorter runs, like below 1ft-10 ft then with a 20ft section but that’s because the wire will have lots of turns and its a little harder to do with one person, it probably would be fine with 2 people but all in all i love it

After playing around with different wire sizes to get the hang of setting the machine up. I then sorted all my wires by gauge. I stripped nearly two 55gallon drums full of wire in about 2hours or so.
This stripper payed for itself in the first hour of stripped and then some.
It does take a bit to get the blade set to the right depth for stranded wire so you don’t cut to deep into the copper and stress the wire up. I love this machine and am very happy with the results thus far.

I just got my Stripper about a week ago, it is very easy to set up. The hardest part is deciding which wires I wanted to work with so I went with possibly 8 gage and once I got it fine tuned I stripped 2 five gallon buckets in no time!
Love it and wish I would have bought it years ago so I could have saved on stitches.
