OMG!!! I love this thing! Wish I had this years ago. I had 2-3 buckets of stranded and solid #10 and #12 wire, I had it all stripped out in a little over 2 hours. Best $149 I have spent this year already.

I am upset I waited so long to purchase the Stripmeister. I waisted money on cheap knockoffs that never worked properly. The Stripmeister is the type of product that makes people understand the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ because it just works. The wire stays right in the middle of the unit every time without slipping off I don’t know how they do it but this little machine has so much thought put into it and it really shows how dedicated the people at Stripmeister are to providing a quality product to their customers. I can’t say enough about this little stripper so if you are still trying to decide on the stripmeister or a cheaper stripper just pull the trigger on the stripmeister I would have gladly paid double for this stripper. A million stars for the Stripmeister.

StripMeister is a great product what else can you say. It’s very well thought out in its design, is simple to set up and use. So far I have stripped out a bunch of 12/2 romex left overs and various size aluminum from #8 to 4/0. Very simple set it up and have at it.

The machine works very fast, no more sore hands. I used to strip all wire by hand, wish I had one of these 20yrs ago. I made all the money I paid, plus some in about 3 hrs.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip #14 AWG?

Yes, the StripMeister Original can strip #14 AWG.  In fact, it can strip down to #18 AWG and up to 250 MCM.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip #16 AWG?

Yes, the StripMeister Original can strip #16 AWG.  In fact, it can strip down to #18 AWG and up to 250 MCM. 

Can the StripMeister Original strip Cat 5, Cat 6 or telephone wire?

Cat 5, Cat 6 and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wire making it too small for the Original wire stripper machine to strip. The smallest wire size the Original can do is #18 gauge wire.

Can the StripMeister Original Strip Speaker Wire?

The StripMeister Original can strip most speaker wire. Speaker wire can range from 10 AWG to 24 AWG. The StripMeister Original can strip as small as 18 AWG or .09″ in diameter with insulation on.

Do I have to use a specific type of drill gun to run the StripMeister Original wire cutter?

The StripMeister is the ideal wire stripper due to that fact that it will accommodate any drill gun with a min. 5/16″ drill chuck or larger making it the best wire stripper around!

Do I need any special tools for replacing parts?

Replacing parts on the StripMeister wire stripping machines is extremely easy and all you need is a 4mm Allen key.

How do I use the StripMeister Original?

How fast can I run the drill gun?

For optimum performance, we recommend that you do not exceed 350 RPM on your StripMeister copper wire stripper.

How fast can the StripMeister Original Strip Wire?

Depending on the power of the machines RPM, diameter, condition of and type of wire the following is an approximate estimate.
Running the drill at 300 RPM will on average strip 350ft per minute.
Running the drill at 150 RPM will on average strip 175ft per minute.

    Fantastic.

    The only main ‘con’ is that the top speed of the 250 could be a little faster. Using a fast hand drill that is well secured could be faster than the 250 motor, but the Stripmeister looks and feels far more reliable than most hand drills. A second smaller hex head for securing Original Stripmeister axle to 250RetroFit is not included if you buy the original then the retro-fit later.

    Many ‘pros’. SOLIDLY built yet lightweight and compact as it needs to be. Everything is machined very well and connections feel precise, it’s easy to see if something doesn’t line up. Quick to setup and adjust. The grip on the wire when properly adjusted is phenomenal, it takes a hard knot in the wire to stop even the smallest version of the Stripmeister.

    The StripmeisterE250 is by far the best method I have used to process my jacketed wire.

    Decent little stripper I’ve got a strip some bigger wire than this thing is designed for I just got the original so I took off some of the guards and the spring so that I could do it I really wish they would sell the other versions without the motors with a similar hook up with the drill. all in all though with a couple modifications it works wonders well worth the money.

    I was doing to do a video on what I have and using the machine I have never used one of these strippers but I have come to find out that it only works really good on round stock wire it does not do very well with Romex it keeps jamming up and does not feed very well at all having a lot of issues found it better just to manually strip Romex wish they had something that could do just row Max of different sizes the feed port for the row Max is not very good but other than that seems to be very well built and a very good machine love it when I’m doing round stock and the price you can’t beat it
