This is one little bad machine. I research a lot of different brands and am so glad I decided on this one. I have stripped every size wire you can imagine so far and it has not failed me yet. Instead of a cordless drill, I went with a variable speed corded drill, you can strip for hours. If you like to strip wire, this is the one to get, compact, rugged, easy to use and gets the job done.

Extremely surprised on how well this little machine performed. Was able to get hours of work done in minutes safely.

Excellent product. I likely recovered the purchase cost with my first salvage operation – mostly aged romex from home remodel. A little finicky in the beginning, I have no doubt further product improvements will yield a perfect tool. But don’t hesitate, current design works extremely well.

Great tool for stripping wire and with ease too. I thought the product would of been bigger for the drill power version but it was compact and you can use it anywhere. Wire that I tried stripping with a knife was 100x faster through this machine and you dont have to worry about any of the string that some wires come with since it will cut that too!

Totally awesome, I would actually give it TWELVE stars! It was not only productive it was FUN!!!

The only reason that I didn’t give the StripMeister 5 stars is due to the way the top adjustment knob is affixed to the All-thread drive rod. It seems as if a drop of LockTite was added to the brass insert of the plastic nob to adhere it to the hardened steel All-thread rod. This attachment point broke loose on me after a couple hours of stripping wire. I was under the impression that I was fine tuning the height of the cutting wheel to the wire being cut, but I was actually spinning the knob on the All-thread and the knob was running up and down; not the cutting wheel. I was able to address this quite easily and I am now able to fine tune the cutting wheel to strip wire as small as #12 AWG stranded THHN, and I can probably strip some #14 as well. The only suggestion I have for StripMeister is to mechanically fix the knob to the All-thread drive rod so it doesn’t break free and give you a false degree of cutting blade wheel adjustment. Besides that, this is a top shelf, beefy, well built and easy to use tool that will pay for itself in no time.

I would like to see it strip smaller than .100
Best I can do is .085
I can modify it but don’t want to ruin it n replace it for $179.00

Wow! While stripping wire is still hard work, man does the StripMeister make fun and way easier. What used to be a chore is now a much more profitable chore. The device has paid for itself in time saved alone. I highly recommend this device if you value your time, like money, and enjoy using badass devices.
