I have had the unit for about 3 weeks now and love its capabilities. The unit was able to pull multiple 150′ lengths of 250 mcm and strip them with ease. I would suggest it to anyone. We did the math and figured at $2.25/lb stripped vs $.95/lb unstripped, retaining 75% of the weight on most wire sizes, it made perfect sense.

We are speciality electrical, mechanical and fire alarm contractors and we end up with literally miles of wire to salvage. We recently retired our first generation machine and are now using the E2000X for reclamation.. The new machine is much easier to set-up and runs incredibly quietly. In operation at reasonable speed we are able to strip better than 40lbs of #12 building wire an hour which is at least double the throughput of the 1st generation machine we have. Instead of rebuilding the tired 1st generation machine we are likely to order another E2000X so that we don’t have to reset the size wire being processed so often. If you reclaim, recycle, or salvage any significant quantity of copper or aluminum wire, this is the machine to have.

I wish I would have found this sooner. The unit is easy to run and will pay for itself within the first month. We manufacture conventional wire and even a flat laminated copper product with a plastic jacket and have successfully striped the flat product. We have it mounted to a wheeled cart so it’s easy to move to different departments in the plant. I am considering buying another unit!
