I was a little disappointed with the 2000x because the 5 kv cable tray wire that has 3 500kcmill wires and a #4 bare in it tends to roll to the side of the cutting wheel and the wire gets stuck. I did on the other hand impress me with the ease and speed stripping the individual 5k 500 kcmill conductors. Send it thru twice and the insulation falls off on the way out of the machine. Overall a great machine.

I’ve bought the stripmeister E2000 back in late 2015 – the tool paid off already countless times – easy to handle, quick set up and if cables to strip are already pre-sorted out in respect to diameter, you can have a decent $$$ turn around within a couple hours. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED investment if you have a lot of wire to process!
