To ensure the smooth operation of your StripMeister E350X we recommend the maintenance of the following:
Make sure the machine is unplugged before performing any maintenance
1. Check the oil level on the gearbox monthly.
Before checking the oil, make sure the gearbox is not hot. If the oil is visible when the screw is removed from Oil filler hole on the gearbox, the unit is still full. If not visible top up with manufacturers recommended gear oil (ISO VG320 or Petro of China CN320) until full.

2. Inspect the blade for damage
3. Inspect and clean Feeder Drive of dirt and debris

I recently bought the StripMeister E350X model and was wondering if it came with gear oil already in it or if I had to buy my own before I could use it?

What type of grease should I use on my StripMeister E350X?
We only use one type of grease on our StripMeister machines and the grease can be found at any local hardware store. The type of grease we use is a general-purpose white grease that is a low odor, nonstaining, NLGI grade 2 grease.
Can the StripMeister E350X strip Cat 5, Cat 6 or telephone wire?
Cat 5, Cat 5, and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wires making it too small for the StripMeister E350X to strip. The smallest wire size the StripMeister E350X can do is #18 gauge wire.
What is the most recommend way to secure the device to strip wire?
